The Power of Make-Up

From time to time I ask myself what makes all that sparkling glamourous celebrities look so fresh when photographed. Of course,aside from photoshop, Aren’t they just like us?
How do they look when waking up in the morning?

Those celebrities are very much like you and me. I tell you.

Here's the thing.  MAKE UP makes all things possible.

Living under the same roof with a woman who spends lots of time in front of the mirror, I know exactly how make up can make u look like a princess and even uglify yourself. I thank God that I was raised by a mother who realize the importance of make up, eventhough she never actually taught me to wear them, apart from the fact that I am a boy. Back then, I complained a lot about the amount of time she needed to do her make up. I was like "Mom, why do you have to wear a make up? It's tiring for me to wait you here!"
I vividly remember her innocence reply. "Don't you want your mom to be beautiful?"
O yes, that simple answer struck me at the first place, really. A lot of pretty woman out there choose to be natural and like taking care of her skin and let it glow naturally, refusing to wear make up. I don't say that's totally wrong. But hey, wait a sec! Check this out

Without make up, who is she? Just a girl next door, really.
But make up makes her Rihanna, the singer as we know it. Make sense right?
Make up does make a difference.

Moreover, boys do notice make up. We can tell when you have one or not. Sometimes we act like we don't notice and care, but a girl with make up, of course on a right amount, will certainly look more presentable and attractive. Personally I object those girls who wear tons of make up. But as I said, if make up will boost your confidence, why not? FYI, there is actually something that is called nude make up that makes you look natural even with make up on.

My Friends

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about MY FRIENDS. I dedicate this post to all my friends in whom I have been close to, counting those whom I dont really like but engage closely in my live in any ways.

Well, the idea of writing this post hit me when I was first annoyed with the behavior of a friend. Long story short, I began thinking of how friends could significantly affect my life. Some are fun, some are annoying, some are creepy, some are weird, but believe me or not, these weirdnesses is just what make them really fun befriended with and make my life more interesting.

Anyway, I promised to a friend of mine who gave a lot of support of me writing this blog, to write a post entitled MY FRIENDS. I feel today is a good time to write about them, but in a totally different approach! Blind-gossipping ! So, this is how it works: I will pick 8 random personalities in which I consider interesting, anonymously. Keep in mind that these are based on my point of view, and may not be totally right.
P.S: 1 of those might be me!

•  Let me start with 'this' guy.We are in very close proximity, yet we are no close as in reality, really.  This guy is warm, gentle, and cannot live without girls. Not because he is popular as in girls like him as a guy, but his personality just right enough for enganging with girls. Personally I strongly felt we have a lot of common and this fact leads us to some sort of cold 'competition'. He talks a lot of things and you will never run out of topic when it comes talking to him. Here's the downside: he does not consider the interest of others. Conversation could get really boring to a point where you just end up saying 'yes', or 'aha, ure rite!'. 

•  I always thought she is a nice girl to hang out with. She is totally fun, loves to joke, a good listener and supporter, and that I would call her my mentor. I chat with her a lot, I tell you, almost every minute, even just asking for repetitive question and unnecessary expression like zzzzzzzzz or brrrrrr. I managed to know her back when I was still in high school. She demands a guy at this very moment, simply just to drive her brand new car whilst she starring at him with her tiny straight-lined eye. lol

•  When you actually first met her, from her physical aspect, you could tell she is lovable. Indeed she is! She never yelled at people, as far as I know (she's been my friend since forever!). She always get bullied around by her close friends (count me in and just imagine how evil we are) but never gets angry. This girl is the most loving and patient girl I have ever known. She beamed with happiness and excitement. Sure I have seen her mad, but even his mad face made me chuckle a little. The thought of making her unhappy really saddened me.  

•  Translator device! Thats what she think of me as. Everytime I wake up I could easily spot her in my BBM chat lists. Reason? She wanted me to translate her feeling to the english version, just because she wants to look cool on twitter, ha! I like her though she ditched me once for a particular reason. I know she did it not on purpose to hurt me, but what really matters, at the end we made it through and survive befriended. p.s: she runs an online shop on which I often made fun of her shop.    

• I was hoping I'll end up with this girl. Past tense, keep that in mind! haha. So, I used to have crush on this girl.  She looks okay and harmless. Cheerful is her forte. But who knows deep down inside as she like to sugar-coat something. She does not know what she's actually capable of and if she keeps up what she is doing rite now, I am not surprised she'd be successful in the future. 

• This guy is really shy and very hard to understand. To be exact, I don't really know much about him. We seemed close, but as a matter of fact, we don't. He always point the conversation topic to me or our mutual friends. He often acts busy which in fact he's not! I would say he is smart but not as smart as he would have think about himself, really. 

• Call him Mr. Sensitive. He always over-thinks on small matters. He is very insecure and couldn't hold on a solid ground by himself. Yet, he filled himself with fun. He seemed like having a lot of friends. But are all of them going to be there when he needed one? Dont think so. Despite having a smiley exterior, he's so fragile inside. He has his own way of approaching something. His way is always weird but interestingly, he always make it work in the end. People label him as a weakling, but he is actually really street smart. You would not believe what he can do, especially in cooking. 

• This girl is very cool and all, but she doesn't watch what she says. I have seen people get really angry at her, I doubt she realized it though. She appears to be very difficult, when it's actually not at all. After all, she is the craziest of my craziest friends. She is my partner in crime, I think. She is a shoulder to lean on and someone that I could talk to. She is really straighforward and sometimes it is confusing, to place her as a girl or a guy because she's somewhere in between! lol

• She is funny, quite tricky sometimes in the sense of we don't really know what she's up to. She is the most caring girl in my particular community here in Melbourne. She would not go out unless she appear sexy enough (based on her point of few). One cold day during winter, she managed to wear short skirt and light jacket only, in order to tell the world her curvy figure. hahaha. She desperately seeks for love these days and looks God forward to write her love story. lol 

Nah, those are personalities of my friends that are around me these days. No offense, I didn't try to judge them and as I said, I would not reveal publicly who they are. Take a guess and tell me if you got it right. =)
Above all, I would say, I am so lucky to have you guys filling my life. Otherwise, our planet earth would be a such lonely planet to live in..
